How to make Starbucks Iced Coffee via the French Press Method:

For making your Starbucks Iced Coffee via the French Press Method, follow these simple steps.

  • The first thing you will need is the French Press and the second thing is a bag of grounded coffee.
  • You need warm water and it must be really hot at 200 degrees but must not be boiling hot. For this temperature, you need to microwave about 2 cups of water for about 3 minutes. There is a kettle for heating the water that has the setting called French Press water heating. This will make the process go smoother and faster.
  • Pour your water into the French Press and add your coffee grounds. I usually go with 2.5 scoops of ground coffee in one cup of water. As for the level scoop of coffee in the drink, you must add 2 tbsp of ground coffee which is about 10 grams.
  • Stir the water and coffee with a wooden spoon or a plastic spoon. Do not use metal ones as it can damage the bottom of your French Press.
  • Let the coffee mixture sit for about 4 minutes and then put a lid over it. Press the lid gently and pour yourself a big glass of Starbucks Iced Coffee in a glass filled with ice.
  • The last thing you need to make the Iced Coffee all the better is to add in some syrup and stir it or simply use homemade sweet cream foam over it.
  • Save the remaining iced coffee mixture in the fridge to use later with only ice.

How to make the Starbucks Iced Coffee using the Cold Press method:

Follow these simple steps on how to make Starbucks Iced Coffee using the cold press method.

  • You are going to need a big pitcher or a measuring cup for making the coffee mixture. You will also need a bag of grounded coffee beans and a coffee filter.
  • Start the recipe by measuring about 8 cups of water and pouring about 12 oz of ground coffee in it. Stir the coffee and water only once with a straw or wooden spoon. Let the whole thing sit for approximately a day.
  • After the 24 hours, time is passed, strain the coffee mixture via a coffee filter in a pitcher. Refrigerate the whole thing for another 8 hours. After 8 hours, you can enjoy your iced coffee made via the cold press method.
  • This method yields highly concentrated coffee. You need to mix half a cup of water and half a cup of this coffee concentrate and pour it into a glass filled with ice. The coffee made is strong so if you like it mild, add in more water.
  • Lastly, to make it sweeter, add in the syrup or the sweet coffee creamer.
